Circle 1 Initiation Ceremony Summer 2010
Sacred Woman Circle of Houston began in June 2010 with the intentions of providing the Houston Community with a consistent Woman's Rites Of Passage Program. For the past 9 years we have been assisting the women of Houston on their journey to wellness through nurturing the mind, healing the body, balancing the emotions and uplifting the spirit for women to live their best. We used as our primary reference text the Sacred Woman book by Queen Afua thus the name "Sacred Woman Circle of Houston".*
Our schedule includes an annual Rites of Passage for women ages 18+, an annual retreat, various wellness events during the year, a bi-annual advance Rites Of Passage Sacred Goddess Temple Mastery and the Sacred Little Sisters Rites of Passage for our beautiful daughters
ages 4 - 18.
The circle is open to women of various backgrounds, experiences, religious views, beliefs, and walks of life. As the Divine Feminine we share and nurture each other to bring forth our higher good.
The next Rites of Passage will begin in March 2020. The Circle will be a 3 month journey for a group of Divine Sisters. Information is available. We also offer assistance to sisters who would like to form Sister Circles in their communities. If you are interested, please complete the contact form.
*Disclaimer: Sacred Woman Circle of Houston is an independent community organization. Sacred Woman Circle of Houston is not affiliated with The Queen Afua Wellness Center of Brooklyn, NY. Please contact 718-221-4325 for Queen Afua's Sacred Woman Programs.
